next build inspiration:

i’ve been surfing the web lately and looking at different projects for inspiration. I’ve always been a fan of the 180sx and its sleek body lines. Theres dozens of them in my area for cheap so obtaining one isn’t hard, the hard part would be the transplant i have in mind, a mildly tuned RB26det would be more than adequate in the power department, especially with some weight loss to the chassis. This wouldn’t be a drift car, but a 2 seater grip canyon/highway racer with all aspects in mind: acceleration, handling, braking, style, and comfort.

Album almost done

6 months of my life recorded on disc. This has been a long and detailed process and technically i still have work to do (photoshoots, website, press kits, meetings). But the hardest part is done. I get the final mix on friday and then the real fun starts. This record sounds so big and high energy, most people i play it for don’t even believe its all me haha. I can’t wait to finally release this, Im going to flip the music industry on its side.

what sucks about the USDM fit is that the nose is slightly longer, so JDM kits won’t work unless you swap out the lights, fenders, and hood. I really dig this kit but for money’s sake im probably going to go the Mugen route.

my new car: 2009 Honda GE Fit

Earlier this week I took a trip to the dealer and drove home with a red Fit. I never thought i would own a red car but this car really jumped out at me. It was between this color and black and black is a little too calm for a guy like me. Comparing this car to my STi is like comparing a hand gun to a rocket launcher but this car is still a blast to drive. The gearbox is really smooth and the car is peppy enough to make driving fun. I caught myself jumping into the next lane and expecting the car to take off like i was still sitting under 310 whp lol.

the interior is super comfy, no rattles, no road noise, no loose panels. the steering wheel has a nice sporty feel to it too. Im the type of guy who gets excited over little details, like driver side automatic up/down window, rear wiper rain sensor, a billion cup holders. But this is my favorite feature…

Ipod integration ! My ipod plugs up into the glove box via USB cord and I have full access from the stereo. Now i don’t have to risk my life trying to decide what i want to listen to.

I told myself i would just enjoy this car stock and use it as a mode of transportation but we know how this goes. Day 2 and i already joined Fitfreak.net haha. I just want tints, a drop, cool wheels, and some J’s Racing goodies…
